NatWest mobile bank: Tuesdays every fortnight at the George

NatWest's mobile branch parks at The George on Commercial Road every other Tuesday from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm, for everyday banking: paying in, taking out cash and paying bills. Its weeks in 2026 begin on 2 November, 16 November, 30 November, 14 December and 28 December, so the next visits are Tuesdays 17 November, 1 December, 15 December and 29 December. It does not run on bank holidays, and a cancelled visit shows as closed on NatWest's branch locator.

Tideswell Post Office closed since 22 February 2023

Tideswell's Post Office, latterly a counter at The Woodhouse on Queen Street, closed on 22 February 2023 when the postmaster resigned; the Post Office called it a temporary closure and has not reopened it. The nearest counter is Litton Post Office, in the village shop on Litton's green, open Monday afternoons and Tuesday and Thursday mornings; Bradwell Post Office is open six days a week. Parcels: the Co-op on Commercial Road is a DPD drop-off and collection point. Post boxes are listed under Places.
